Did you know we collect our cheese directly from the farms?🚜

Made friends with these guys as I collected our cheese from 🐔🐓

They followed me from the car, to the cheese store, waited patiently, then followed me back

Was warned that they'd try to jump in the car...not sure I would've minded. We clearly all share a love of cheese!

Weekend job alert 📣

We are looking for someone to work Saturdays, and after training, Sundays, joining our Cheesemonger team

There is the possibility for holiday cover, and many more shifts are available over December and the Christmas period (it is the cheesiest season, we'll all be there on Christmas Eve!)

Requirements

- Excellent people skills
- Lover of food (especially cheese)
- Be able to work on your feet all day and be able to lift a 25kilo Cheddar (or something of equivalent weight if you've never lifted a cheddar)

Desirable

- retail/hospitality/food handling experience

Perks

- Monthly cheese stipend
- Great staff discounts above that
- You get to visit cheesemakers and have a go!
- Become the nerdiest person you know about cheese

Poppy got smoked cheese as her category, got soft cheese - it's a tough job tasting lots of amazing handmade cheeses...but someone's gotta do it

Fun event with - pairing delicious local cheeses with delicious local wine. Such a lovely group - even had an interesting chat about archaeology!
