The APE Family Farm Fund

One of the things we’ve wanted to do for a long time at APE is give back.

We’ve always been drawn to the idea of creating a direct and tangible impact; something we can see, share, and bring our community along with.

That’s why we’ve decided to support small UK farms directly.

These farms play a vital role in producing food, caring for the land, preserving traditional skills, and helping maintain a closer connection between people and nature. Yet many of them face enormous challenges simply to survive.

From today, 2% of profit from every order will be set aside to support small farms across the UK.

As this fund grows, we’ll be investing directly into projects that help these farms thrive. Whether that’s buying animals, improving infrastructure, planting trees, enhancing biodiversity, or helping bring a new idea to life, we’ll share exactly where the money goes and the impact it creates.

We’ll also tell the stories of the people behind these farms, shining a light on the incredible work they’re doing and helping our community connect more deeply with the land that sustains us.

This starts today. Every order placed from June 8th 2026 contributes to the fund, and we’re committed to increasing our contribution as APE grows.

Has living outside become a privilege?

Hours outside swapped for hours on screens.

It raises the question are we using technology or is it us who is now being used?

We were never designed to live in square boxes with white washed walls.

The human eye can see more shades of green than any other colour, this evolved from the wisdom gained by our ancestors.

Gazing at the horizon relaxes our minds, the exact opposite to the way we respond to closely viewing screens.

We have evolved with animals, omens, seasons and life.

Sea water and the amniotic fluid we are held in share a remarkable resemblance.

We are meant to evolve with nature. 🌿

Because it distracts people from the real issue at hand…

How broken our food system is.

Surely we can all agree on one thing…

Whether you eat plants, animals or both…

We should be trying to eat food that’s grown in a way that doesn’t poison the soil or treat animals cruelly.

The focus should be on reducing our dependence on big food and industrial agriculture and supporting regenerative farming.

This type of farming:
- Has the highest standards for animal welfare
- Sequesters more carbon into the soil than it gives off
- Promotes wildlife biodiversity
- Improves water holding capacity (preventing flooding)
- Supports smaller scale family run farms
- Works in harmony with the environment
- Improves soil health
- Doesn’t rely on artificial chemicals, antibiotics and hormones

It’s time to start putting our food system back into the hands of farmers who care about animals, the land and our health 🥩🌎🌿

It’s becoming undeniable that the systems are broken.

Modern powers are so set on homogenising humans, funnelling our experiences and perspectives to fall in step with their agenda.

As always we turn to nature. We turn to community, connection, the land.

We choose to listen to ourselves before an external body or an artificial intelligence.

To live as close as we can to the ways we have evolved.

To eat real food. Be outside. Slow things down. To rediscover human.

Bone broth is one of the foods humans have likely consumed for the longest time.

You literally build your body from the food you eat…

And not only does what you consume dictate how every cell in your body is made, but also the level to which they can function.

If you want to be feeling and operating at your best, you need to flood your body with bioavailable vitamins and minerals on a daily basis and keep food caused inflammation to a minimum.

Some more cell lifespans you might find interesting are:

- White blood cells (immunity) = 1-2 days
- S***m cells = 2-3 days once mature
- Red blood cells (oxygen transportation) = 120 days
- Taste bud cells = 10-14 days
- Bone cells = 2 weeks or 3 months (depending on type)

Nutrition is so much more than calories in vs calories out… as you can see from this, it’s important to go a level deeper and think about your micronutrient intake too.

Consistently consuming high levels of micronutrients on a daily basis means you’ll build new cells fast and optimally so they’ll function to their greatest potential. For example if you have good levels of iron, this will ensure oxygen delivery is flowing and energy production is where you need it. Alternatively if iron is low, this reduces oxygen delivery and limits energy production.
