We had a great day at the South West of England Cidermakers' Association meetup yesterday. We met some lovely fellow cider makers, tried some delicious bottles from and came away with a first place in the sweet category of the cider competition.

A perfect 🌈 blend of mid season apples: bittersweet (Harry Masters Jersey and Tremletts Bitter), sweet (Slack ma Girdle) and sharp (Yeovil Sour) - ready for the press. The quantity and quality of the fruit this year is exceptional.

Beautiful Somerset Redstreak being harvested today. Still plenty more on the trees. Trailer full in about an hour thanks to the Solver Fox electric harvester.
