It’s a beautiful time of year for our produce grown on our own shores. The crazy thing is, while all our uk farms are producing abundantly the custom reduces.
There are lots of reasons for this, but predominantly holidays and festivals, making it tough for your local farmer who could do with supporting as they fight the good fight.
As a shop with our own farm we really feel the pain of producing beautiful sustainable goodness with zero air miles only for it to not get bought.
So we are looking for your help, can you think of any solutions?
One major one for us is to order a Vegbox if you don’t currently have one, also instead of cancelling your Vegbox or shopping at Matter for your holiday, take it with you if it’s in the uk or donate it to a friend or family member or perhaps a food bank and help a bunch of worthy causes including enabling us to continue farming organically right here in bristol.
