A wee update on the progress of our Apprentice Bjorn.

As you can see he's certainly seen a lot of "growth" as a Brewery Dug. We've also got a few bottles of our in-house "Bjorn to Brew" Labels available as of this morning!

Freyja was a bit jealous of all the attention so insisted that we show off her rippling muscles to show what a real Brewery Pup looks lke. She also wanted to let everyone know that her Brewery Pup beer is on sale for the rest of the month. (Because she is so generous, definitely not that we brewed too much of it....)

This morning we are having our first attempt at roasting our new Ethiopian beans!

Doesn't that look like a lovely dark roast!

All set up at the Highland Games! We've got all of our annual family bickering about hot to set up put of the way and ready to go!

t's a bit windy so we've employed Yorick as chief tent holder while Veronica and Gerald handle the rest!

We're keeping Yorick busy this morning with a fresh batch of coffee roasting!

Veronica has taken over the sourcing of the green beans and has gone mental and got in some fancy "peaberry" beans from Brazil!

Good news everyone! We've made out like bandits at the Scotland Indie Beer Awards!

Arran Dark did particularly well winning Gold in both its Cask and Bottle Category, it also won Bronze in the "Overall Champion of the Bottle & Can Competition". Not bad for an old brew!

Id, which is soon to be know as "Bjorn to Brew" proved that our newer brews are also more than up to par - winning Gold in the "Bottle & Can Specialty IPA" category.

Sunset won a Bronze in the "Bottle & Can British Bitters (up to 4.4%)" Category.

Fireside won a Bronze in the "Bottle & Can Specialty & Flavoured Beer" category.

What a haul! Not bad for a two man and two dug team! We'll do a proper update on our website soon where you can see all the pretty certificates, but for now enjoy a presumably slightly merry Gerald enjoying having his picture taken.
