Last Sunday
Hop Pole Inn Bromsgrove - Live Music Venue very own
Matt faced of against Owen
In the Jurassic smash challenge
57oz patty
800g of mozzarella
An entire jar of pickles

Matt did take the victory this time by absolutely destroying 2/3
However Owen was placed at a disadvantage

We have crowned our 2026 chilli champion 🏆

Surviving two rounds of the 9th circle inferno challenge we have the Hop Pole Inn Bromsgrove - Live Music Venue very own Ash.

Yes we've had lots of men make bold claims that they have asbestos guts, have eaten carolina reapers right off the stem and eat vindaloo on their cornflakes. 🔥

As usual none of them actually turn up though, were they scared they would be beaten by a little girl.
Well I invented this sauce (lab tested & hottest in the u.k)
13 years ago and I can assure you , you simply can't beat her.

She has tanked this burn more than anyone I've ever seen out of 100s of people up and down the country.

Well done Ash , of course it's all for a good cause with all money raised being donated to primrose hospice.
And thank you to all those brave competitors that risked their rings for charity 😂 😂

The inferno challenge will not be returning until next year, but the 9th circle inferno sauce will be available to purchase at Christmas time.

Stay tuned for next week's challenge as brave competitors attempt to tackle the Jurassic smash : a whooping 11lb gigantic smash burger 🍔 , stay tuned to see behind the scenes of this insane creation. 😊

Today's the day Hop Pole Inn Bromsgrove - Live Music Venue month of Sundays

Its the final of city smokes 9th circle inferno challenge

Today the stakes are higher , as is the burn.

A loaded inferno fries 🍟 each of them absorbing the lethal sauce.
Who will eat the most , who can tank the burn the longest

All proceeds of the challenge, are donated directly to primrose hospice a fantastic cause close to our hearts.

If you think you have the metal to enter the challenge starts at 2pm as a spot of pre entertainment before our amazing band takes the stage live in the garden

Of course city smoke is on deck delivering our fantastic BBQ and street food fusions

We are also joined this week by city scoops
Our friendly neighborhood ice cream parlor, offering sweet treats and relief
