𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀𝗼𝗻'𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘆𝗰𝗲? We're doing a little digging into our family history – and we're hoping some of you might be able to help.

Long before Speyside Specialities as you know us today, Lawson's of Dyce was part of our story. The business established its Dyce operation in the early 1930s, going on to become a household name and major employer in the Aberdeen area.

Robert Lawson was the great-grandfather of our own David Lawson, so we're trying to uncover some of the stories and memories that have inevitably been lost to time.

Whatever you call it, ours is still made here in Buckie using locally milled Scottish oats – and it’s been a firm favourite on plates across Scotland for generations.

Black Pudding Pakoras…
Now, Haggis pakora might already be a Scottish favourite, but we reckon Black Pudding deserves its moment too!

Golden and crispy with a lightly spiced batter, served with a cooling mint & mango yoghurt dip – these are seriously moreish. 🤤

🌶️ Like a little extra heat? Add a pinch of chilli flakes to the batter.
