Associated Seafoods

Associated Seafoods Proud to be a leading Scottish seafood processor! Our product range includes premium Scottish smoked salmon, Scottish langoustine, herring marmalade and more.

With a proud tradition in Salmon smoking that goes back over 100 years, Associated Seafoods Ltd is a leading supplier of the highest quality Scottish seafood. Associated Seafoods was established in 2010, when it brought together two of the most respected companies within Scotland’s food industry – Lossie Seafoods, a specialist in smoked fish and Moray Seafoods, a leading business in shellfish prod

uction. Our quality Scottish seafood is served in some of the world's top restaurants, shops and hotels and we are tremendously proud of our product range and our commitment to customer service. In March 2022 we acquired the fish processing facility in Arbroath formerly known as RR. Spink & Sons, part of the Dawnfresh Group. In doing so we welcomed approximately 249 new colleagues to the Group and allayed fears of job losses in a town with a long-held fish processing tradition. Our Arbroath site produces a wide range of smoked salmon and other fish products.

is a Scotland-wide campaign organised by Developing the Young Workforce DYW Moray celebrating the different routes people take into employment.

The award-winning initiative encourages us to share our career experiences, helping to demonstrate that success doesn't depend on following a single path after leaving school.

Each year during exam results week, the campaign showcases the opportunities available to young people, including apprenticeships, college, university, direct employment and other career pathways.

Mhairi Simpson, Operations Manager and Callum Gostelow, Quality Auditor.
Both had different ideas for their career paths, but realised you don't have to have everything worked out at the start. You just need a willingness to learn, try new things and take the opportunities when they arise!

By sharing real-life stories, inspires and reassures young people that there are many ways to build a rewarding career.

It has been a great honour for RR. Spink & Sons to sponsor the 2014 Panmure Carnoustie football team strip this season.

With 39 players and 12 coaches they are the largest age-group squad across the entire club, training twice each week and playing their matches on Sundays.
The season has been a fantastic year of development, teamwork and fun for all players involved, creating great memories for both the young players and their families.

The season ended on a high note with a highly competitive Kids v. Parents match ending 4-4 with the kids scoring a last-minute equaliser much to the disappointment of the parents!

We wish them well as they move up to playing 11-a-side in the 2026/27 season!

Following their success in the Buckie High School S3 Cookery Competition, it was a pleasure to welcome winners Rhianna, Eliot along with their Home Economics teacher Faye Lowe for a tour of Associated Seafoods and once again prepare their winning dishes for us to try.

We can confirm their food was delicious! Thank you both.

Following the success of our recent bake sale, we're delighted to share this photo of our Planning Manager, Judy Gawrys, presenting a cheque for £800 to Ruathy Donald from CHAS (Children's Hospices Across Scotland).

Again, a huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated and supported the event. Your generosity helped us raise this fantastic amount for such a worthwhile cause.

As we head into the weekend, we would like to send our congratulations to David Higgins from Buckie.

David has always been a reliable and dependable team member, but recently, he has gone above and beyond, taking the initiative to learn and support multiple areas of the production lines, helping to ensure they run smoothly.
His willingness to adapt, multitask, and assist wherever needed has had a real impact making him a truly deserving recipient of this recognition award.
