Wild Rose Flower Company We grow wildly beautiful, naturally scented seasonal flowers April to Oct in North Buckinghamshire Scented seasonal blooms from April to October.

2022 is officially our fifth year growing British flowers here on our working farm. Without air miles and no chemicals. A local business supplying our community with fresh flowers for their homes with weekend bunches or subscription flowers delivered to the door, hand tied bouquet for special occasions, buckets for DIY weddings and events, and natural, environmentally sound funeral flowers.We also produce personalised and beautifully packaged Succulent Gardens in a giftbox posted out anywhere in the UK.

Today was the last cut of the fresh flowers this season. Its been all in all a great year if we ignore the weather challenges 🤪. As farmers we know the weather is either our best friend or biggest foe and its really been tough. But we are now looking forward to 2027 with seedlings sown and beds slowly being cleared and mulched.
Thank you to everyone who has bought flowers from here for loved ones, friends, celebrations, thank yous and for you to enjoy at home. A local business passionate about providing beautiful flowers naturally.

I know it's only September but enquiries are coming in for our Christmas wreath workshops and wreath kits. And I am very pleased to say they are now available to book on the website!l Link also in the bio.
Dates are Mon 30th Nov and Weds 9th Dec.

We always use locally grown material, including hand woven willow bases, all the foliage and berries are freshly cut on the farm, including our own Christmas tree foliage plus dried flowers and seedheads grown here too.. minus the oranges! Doing our best to be as sustainable as possible and all the wreaths are biodegradable or you can remove the materials to reuse the willow rings in the spring.
Stocks and workshop places are limited.. when they're gone.. they're GONE!! So defo book soon if you are keen. And just to say we always lay on delicious homemade soups and nibbles washed down with mulled w**e, teas and coffee to keep you all fully charged and warm in The Old Dairy. With the added bonus of a log burner.

The dahlias are still blooming and we have our last PYO session on Saturday morning 26th Sept. So book a slot and come and enjoy some peaceful time in the walled garden followed by coffee/tea and homemade cake in a cosy cabin with a beautiful view!

DIY curated wedding flowers went out on Tuesday for the bride to create all of her own bridal flowers and table decorations. A very pretty soft palette complimented with delicate and scented foliage.
A get well soon bouquet for local delivery.
DIY party flowers in soft oranges, pale pinks, plums, whites and greenery.
Busy clearing out the polytunnel, sorting seeds and buying fresh compost to start sowing. It's the beginning of our growing year and many have already started in late August but we took off for a few days. Steve has never had a break away in August in his life as usually flat out on harvest or ground prep for next year. But too hard and dry to cultivate .. just shows how much the weather patterns are changing. Very thankful for the rain we have now had

So pleased to say dates are now available on the website for PYO dahlias with refreshments and homemade cake! I am just doing 10am and 11am morning slots.. Friday 4th, Sunday 6th, Thursday 17th and Saturday 26th September.

If you fancy an hour of relaxation in the walled garden choosing some pretty blooms...and eating cake.. click on the link on the bio to book!
The Granary Giftshop will also be open 10am to noon on these dates.. welcome to pop in even if you aren't picking dahlias. And refreshments will also be on offer!

Anniversary party bouquet collected this morning 💕

We are finally enjoying some rain as we have been missing out these last couple of days. If it keeps raining consistently now the ground will be able to soak it up and farmers including us can start drilling for next year's crops
The walled garden will be opening for PYO dahlias next week .. along with yummy homemade CAKE!! And you are welcome to have a mooch in the Granary Giftshop which had a spruce up last week.

I will release some dates very soon!

Now that harvest is finished and I've had chance to catch my breath ... I wanted to share a few more gorgeous wedding inspo's. This one was from early June at Huntsmill Farm. Rachel's brief was beautifully put together requiring dainty headed flowers in plum, ch*****ne, burgundy and blush to compliment the gorgeous palette of bridal dresses. And table decs with our curated DIY buckets of burnt oranges, soft yellows and creamy whites. I have to admit for early June it wasn't easy to create the bridals and was very grateful to Buzzy Buzzy Lepper and Jane Helsthorpe Farm Flowers for coming up with some fab material to work with.

A gorgeous mid July wedding with a very pretty soft palette to compliment the most beautiful glowing bride and her stunning dress!
Bridals and buttonholes by me and we used a piece of the wedding dress material to tie off the bouquet plus DIY buckets for friends and family to create two large milkchurn arrangements and robust foliage and dried flowers to cover an outdoor arch which could cope with the high temperatures and glorious but somewhat relentless sunshine.
Mother of the bride grew her own flowers for the table decorations 👌👏. So a great way to keep costs manageable and take part in growing and creating some of the arrangements. Not for the feint hearted I may add.. this summer has been 🥵🥵

Harvest has started even earlier this year. The barley and Oil Seed R**e are cut and now it's day 3 of the milling wheat... plenty more days ahead but at least this year there is something worthwhile to harvest 🙌 and currently I have quite a happy farmer which is nearly as rare as hens teeth.. as long as they are fed and watered regularly!! 😍

Off for a few days to relax and recharge before harvest kicks in next week on the farm.Flowers available again from next...
