What a beautiful day for messing about on the water(canal). Hire a pedalo or paddle board. If you have your own paddle board or kayak it costs just over a fiver to use the canal for the day.

Seasonal dog bans kick in today at Crooklets and Widemouth Bay. This means that dogs are not permitted on these beaches between 10am and 6pm until 30th September.

Over at Summerleaze, the dogs on lead rule between 10am and 6pm starts 21st May.
