Good news we are taking reservations for 2021. Following the latest announcement from the government on the road map to get out of the late
st (and hopefully the last) lockdown, we aim to fully open the campsite on 17th May. It has been announced that self catering accommodation with self contained facilities can open on 12th April so Little Tamarstone Cottage will be available from that date. Please note: The campsite will open on 12th April however in accordance with the latest Government guidelines, the shared campsite toilets and wash facilities will now be open however the showers will be allocated to guests without their own showers, this means we have two pitches available to guests without their own facilities. Please only book a pitch if you have your own facilities in your caravan or motorhome or have contacted us prior to book the shower facilities. Campsites and caravan parks will be permitted to open for leisure stays provided that the only shared facilities used by guests at the campsite or caravan park are receptions, washing facilities (including facilities for laundering clothes), public toilets, baby changing rooms, breastfeeding rooms, water points and waste disposal points. Shower facilities should be operated so as to ensure no household mixing takes place. This would involve either assigning shower facilities to one household group/support bubble, (i.e. making them private), or running a reservation and clean process (whereby one household can exclusively book the shared facilities for a fixed time, and the facilities are cleaned between reservations and kept well-ventilated). Other facilities - receptions, facilities for laundering clothes, public toilets, baby changing rooms, breastfeeding rooms, water points and waste disposal points - should be cleaned regularly and kept well-ventilated and guests should try where possible to limit their interaction with other households whilst using these facilities. The information below was for 2020 but may apply in 2021 depending on what restrictions are in place during 2021. We will open the campsite for a very limited number of visitors so we can protect both our guests and ourselves. We have 10mt pitches with 4mt gaps in normal circumstances so that will not change however depending on the number of people per pitch we may only have 5 - 7 pitches available at anyone time out of the normal 15. We will not be opening the beach/games room and social distancing measures will be put in place to cover the toilet block and shower block with additional hand wash and sanitiser available, together with a complete closure of the toilet block and showers when cleaning is taking place. In addition limitations will be in place whilst using the showers and the shower block will be closed at 10pm and open again at 7am. The holiday cottage which is self contained will under go in depth cleaning and disinfection before every new guest arrives. We will be following Government and industry guidance.
