So we have painted scrubbed and sorted - and have formally vacated

Please remember that we are still just down the road in Exmouth

We have a full range of all of our home and gifts plus some ranges we didn’t have room for in budleigh

We are also stocking new season men’s and ladies clothing in Exmouth too

So everything you used to get in budleigh is just 4 miles away in an event bigger and better shop

Sad day we closed the doors permanently on both our Dartmouth and Budleigh shops today

The impacts of covid, paying bounce back loans, rising energy and running costs, cost of living and interest rates affecting peoples spending power, added to the 2 towns not being supported enough by the residents, plus some aweful constant rain until recently have all taken their toll. We know so many other small high street shops and catering businesses are also having an aweful time and suppliers are saying the same

We continue to have our shops in teignmouth Exmouth and Honiton Please please please if u need to buy something do any shopping you can locally and support ur indi businesses. If ur eating out or having coffee support a local cafe not a faceless chain. Don’t let ur towns die - lose it and it’s gone forever

We say goodbye to the lovely Sam, Amy, Debbie, Denise and Julia as a result of the closures. Thanks guys for everything you have done whilst part of our team

Imagine having to give up something you have worked really hard for and invested lots of your own money into

Imagine being an employee and not being sure what’s happening with your job

Well to those who today have
- tried to haggle for a card stand from £50 to £20 and then walked off because we said no
- The ladies who have come in with no interested in even looking let along buying but who think it’s reasonable to take up my team members time and energy bemoaning the state of the high street

How would you feel?

Sad news. We are closing for the last time today at 4 pm so it’s the final chance to get ur pre new year gifts and treats and clothing bargains

The good news is that it’s only the final closing of 2023 - we will see you again on Tuesday 2nd Jan 2024 ready for another year
