So that’s a wrap on Scrapless Refill Store, Burgess Hill. What a blast!

Thirza here and I just wanted to take a moment, on behalf of the whole Scrapless community to say a massive, massive THANK YOU and WELL BLOOMING DONE to Meg. I don’t think it is really possible to put into words what a feat this operation has been over the last three years. I’m sure we can all agree that what Meg has achieved in creating an amazing, welcoming and vibrant community of Scrapless warriors is nothing short of marvellous. Not only this, but in creating a practical offering to help us all take direct individual action in making a difference to plastic waste, our carbon footprints and on tackling the global climate crisis. The collective impact of our individual action is something that I hope that Meg can be proud of for many, many years to come! We are so very grateful to all of you for supporting her in making this happen.

On a personal note I can’t even begin to thank Meg for welcoming me into her Scrapless journey 18 months ago and trusting me to be a part of what has been so much of her world for the last 3 years. I have not met many people, either personally or professionally, who have shown as much determination, hard work, enthusiasm, perseverance, sense of humour and dedication to a community and global cause as Meg! I could not have asked to work for someone more wonderful, compassionate and inspiring and have had such fun doing so!

I feel like I could go on and on at attempting to sing Meg’s praises - though I know she is far too modest to want that, and frankly it still wouldn’t do her justice and could all get a bit soppy! But I hope that wherever you are you will all join me and raise a virtual toast to Meg to congratulate her on what a HUGE SUCCESS Scrapless has been as a remarkable and pioneering project for Mid-Sussex and wish her all the best for the future. Please send telepathic messages of REST & RECUPERATION in Meg’s direction through the airwaves!!

We hope that you will continue on your personal zero-waste journeys and continue to support the high street in Burgess Hill. It needs you.

Due to your amazing efforts at stocking up before closing, we have decided to bring forward our closure, meaning that tomorrow, Saturday July 15th will be our last day trading.

We do have remaining stock of some of your favorite products, from teas, chocolates, rice and household cleaning, and plentiful products in the freezer section and more! So we would love to still see your smiling faces tomorrow as we bring this chapter to a close!

We will be open tomorrow 10-3 for some final refills and hope to see you there!

Sorry guys, a couple more amendments to the line up in our final week of trading. As it still stands we are still set to close Saturday 22nd. This may change however and we may close sooner. But we will inform you of this is the case

Hi all. Thirza back in the fold.
Unfortunately due to health and appointments… and Megatron’s Birthday 🥳🤫🫢 we have had to revise opening hours this week. Very sorry for the inconvenience and hope that you can still pop in to top up etc.

Tuesday (today): Open 10 - 4 (early close)
Wednesday (10-4) & Thursday (10-6) as usual.
Friday: Open 10-2pm (early close)
Saturday: Open 10-3pm (early close)
Sunday: Open 11-2pm as usual.

Of course we sadly are running low on some of your faves as our Scrapless times are nearing the end, but do come and see what you can grab without excess packaging. If our early closures this week have caused a bother, please free to drop any packaging off when you can and we’ll do our best to refill them for you and you can either pop back, or we might be able to drop off if you’re local.
