Services //

Sunday / 10am Mass
(on all Sundays except the 4th Sunday of the month)>>

This service includes more formal liturgy (the words and prayers we use during the service), incense, sung hymns and contemporary songs, and communion. It is also followed by refreshments. During these services we have separate children’s activities in the café space. Our children’s work leaders are fully DBS c

hecked and safeguarding trained. We also have a children’s corner with toys and books in the main church if you would prefer to use this space. Lasts about an hour.

4th Sunday of the month / 10am Mass >>

On the 4th Sunday of each month our Sunday service is a bit more informal, has live musicians wherever possible, no incense, children are included in this service, and is also the service in which we host baptisms. If you would like to know more about having your child baptised please do get in touch. Lasts about an hour. Garden Church / 3pm / 1st Sunday of the month >>

Our new outdoor service takes place in the churchyard in all weathers* so dress accordingly! We are developing what this gathering looks like but essentially we are focussing on meeting God in creation, looking at nature, gently exploring prayer and the bible, plus cooking on the fire pit! (*If the weather is really terrible, like monsoon conditions bad, then we will go inside but garden church will still happen every time, so don't be put off by wet or cold weather! If buying wet weather gear/wellies etc might be cost prohibitive for you please let us know and we can help out.)

Tuesday / 10.30am Informal communion
This service meets in our small chapel. It is quite informal, said (ie: no music) and lasts about half an hour. It is then followed by refreshments for those who want to stay.

Wednesday / 7 for 7.15pm / contemporary service / 2nd Wednesday of the month

A non communion service, with live music, short talk and more space the the Holy Spirit to move. Refreshments before the service at 7pm. Lasts about an hour and a 1/4.

We had a really wonderful talk last night from our Reader, Rob, talking about his passion for icons and talking about how he paints them prayerfully. A really interesting evening. As the sun went down and shone through the windows of church, the light hit the icons and they just shone.

Today we joined with our friends at St John's to say a very sad goodbye to our colleague & friend Fr David. A warm & kind man, who has gone far too soon. We offer our prayers & love to Fr David's family & those who were closest to him.

The service was led by Bishop Will & was a wonderful tribute to all that David held dear, with a fantastic sermon & eulogy from a friend of his, bringing tears & laughter.

May he rest in peace, & rise in glory.

🧡💕 The Summer hols are almost here, and that means our summer fun mornings are back!🧡💕

/ Crafts, actives and games for kids (aimed at preschool and primary age but all welcome).

/ Free (make a donation if you can towards our children's work).

/ Café open for drinks, snacks and lunches.

/ All welcome.

/ We aim to be friendly and welcoming to those who are neurodivergent. There is a quiet space, and ear defenders available, but if your kids have specific needs or you have questions please do get in touch.

We wish you well and hope you have an amazing time!

Don't worry though, we have you covered in the summer, we will be back in August with our Summer Fun!

Every Thursday in August at the slightly later time of 10am - 12noon, and you can bring your older siblings and friends!

We will say goodbye to all those heading off to school or preschool from September with a special little gift to remember us by.

£1 per child, includes a snack, open play, singing and a story. Come and join the fun!

The Mustard Seed Cafe is also open from 9:30am for hot and cold drinks, sweet treats and lunches.
