We're hiring!
Exciting opportunity to join the Oakstream team and practice holistic farming under regenerative agriculture and permaculture principles.
Full time or part time hours considered across weekdays and weekends.
We have a diverse farm with laying hens, meat chickens, hatching eggs, ducks, turkey, rabbits, market garden, nursery, bee hives, kitchen, farm dogs and cats!
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual to help in all aspects of the farm. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- feeding laying birds, meat chickens, rabbits, turkeys, ducks and farm dogs
- collecting, grading and packing eggs
- rotating animals around the pastures
- sowing seeds, planting, maintaining and harvesting market garden
- packing veg
- planting trees and hedgerows
- managing compost on the farm
- managing compost worms and biochar production
- stock management duties
- general farm structure building / diy projects
- recording and editing content for social media
