Welcome to Riverside Equestrian here is a little bit of information about myself.
I started riding at the age of 7 with a little welsh unbroken pony. Progressed to 14.2hh's riding club then BSJA (BS). This led to riding and competing on several character building ponies.
Upon leaving school, I became a racehorse training jockey for Henry Candy and later, Jenny Pitman. After leaving the racehorse industry I then went back to my passion which is show jumping, producing my own youngsters up to 1.30m level including competing at RIHS.
I worked and assisted in the running of a large Equestrian centre for 20 years. This involved backing and breaking young horses for various clients, plus producing novice horses. Over the years I have taken in horse's for many people including very well known professionals. I get great enjoyment from educating youngsters slowly with patience and understanding.
