🌺 THE POPPY APPEAL IS HERE 🌺

From now until 11th November, you’ll find the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in store, with lots of poppy items available.

Every year, our amazing customers show just how generous and supportive our community is through their charitable donations. ❤️

Let’s keep that incredible support going this year! 🙌

Why not head over, have a chat with the wonderful volunteers and show your support? They give up their time to help make a difference, and every donation, big or small, really does count. 🌺

Thank you, as always, for supporting our community. ❤️

🏆✨ Our Gold Service Superstar for August was, without a doubt, Paula! ✨🏆

For the past 12 weeks, Paula has been working behind the scenes throughout our refit, keeping everything in check and making sure the overnight team had everything covered.

Not only has she led the team with ease, but she has also played a huge part in keeping disruption to a minimum. She made sure all the moving around was completed and everything was ready for each opening day — helping the refit run as smoothly as possible for both our customers and colleagues.

I’m sure there were times when it was challenging (nights definitely aren’t for everyone! 😴), but Paula took it all in her stride and did an amazing job.

You may have spotted Paula back on the day shifts now, so don’t forget to say hello when you’re next in store! 👋💙

Thank you, Paula, for all your hard work and dedication — this one is very well deserved! 🥇👏

💙 Community support is what we’re all about! 💙

It’s always great when we can support an amazing local charity, and it’s something we’re lucky enough to do regularly. 🥰

It may not always be a huge donation, but we truly believe every little helps. Small contributions can make a big difference to those who need it most. ❤️

We’ve also got some hats and gloves on their way, which the team will be able to hand out to people experiencing homelessness as the colder weather arrives. 🧤🧣

If anyone is able to help or contribute towards purchasing more items, West Lancs Ark would really appreciate your support. 🙏💙

Together, those little acts of kindness can make a BIG difference! 💙

✨ WE’RE ALL REFITTED! ✨

We hope you’ve all noticed by now that our refit is officially complete! 🎉

The Produce department is now the main focus, with a fresh new look that has also helped to make the front of the store feel much more open, bright and spacious. 🍎🥦🥕

You may have also spotted our brand-new fridges and freezers 🧊✨ These are more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, helping us to reduce our carbon footprint and make a positive difference for the future. 🌱💚

We know that with all the changes, some things may still take a little getting used to! If you’re ever unsure where to find something or need a helping hand, please just ask one of our team. We’re always happy to point you in the right direction. 😊

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding throughout the refit — we hope you love the finished result as much as we do! 💙
