🇲🇦🍲 Holiday Mode… but we’re still learning! 🍲🇲🇦

Yes, Bistro Style is currently closed for our holiday, but we’re not spending all our time relaxing! 😄

Today we had the opportunity to learn how to cook a traditional Moroccan tagine, and we discovered some fascinating secrets behind its incredible flavour.

One thing that surprised us was the use of preserved lemons 🍋. Unlike regular lemons, these are salted and left to pickle for up to 6 months, creating a unique tangy, aromatic flavour that is an essential ingredient in many authentic Moroccan dishes.

It’s amazing how much tradition, patience and passion go into creating these wonderful recipes. We’re loving the chance to learn about different food cultures and bring back plenty of inspiration! ✨
