Guess who’s back!

Running a small business is hard, absorbing you and becoming your LIFE more than your job

Running multiple small businesses is even harder, because you’re passionate about everything but even working all the time you just can’t be everywhere ALL the time

When I launched crumbs I did it alone, I was working afternoons & evenings at Queens, then baking through the night and working mornings in the shop.. I was f*cked 😅

But It needed to be done.

Then I built a little team, and although I was overseeing everything I didn’t often work in the crumbs shop, I’ve been Queens kitchen based, and then slices…

Well…

People come and go, teams change & grow, more attention is needed in different places at different times, and long story short…

I’m BACK!

It’s no secret hospitality is a bit of a sh*t show right now, it’s hard to turn a profit in a busy restaurant let alone a tiny shop selling cookies

So we’re going to be making a few changes to ensure we deliver the BEST products we can AND keep on surviving

What’s not going to change? Using high quality ingredients and PROPER Belgium chocolate

What will change?
- Slightly reduced product range, which will help us reduce wastage and focus on making those products the BEST.
- Reduced opening hours: I’ll be open Wed-Sat for now
- There may also be odd closure dates when I have to attend other work, or rare occasions I go away (until new staff are trained 😁)

Thanks for supporting a small business, and no doubt I’ll be seeing you in the shop at some point! 🍪

Been wiped out today on my lonesome, and as a singular guy who needs to be in two places at once, I don’t have time to restock for tomoz

There’s probably about 36 other bakeries on the Food & Drink market as well so hopefully you can find something sweet 😃
