Hello everyone! 👋
I’ve noticed quite a few new faces around here, so I thought it was the perfect time to introduce ourselves.
I’m Chloè, the baker behind Coco’s Bake Shed, and this is my husband Nicky—our designated pot-washer, packaging expert, and chief supporter! 😆💗
I’ve been baking for family and friends for many years, fell in love with cake decorating, and I'm always experimenting with new flavors. I actually taught myself most of my skills through YouTube years ago, and I’m still learning every day. Nicky and I are total foodies and "feeders" at heart, which I think is the secret ingredient—you truly have to love what you make!
For a long time, serious health issues kept me out of the traditional workforce. It was a challenging road both physically and mentally, and there are still days where I have to pause and rest. But I knew I needed a passion project to pour my energy into—something to give me a fresh focus and a bright new purpose.
That’s exactly how Coco’s Bake Shed was born.
I’ve dreamed about it since lockdown, and honestly, my sister-in-law, Sister and friends had been begging me for years to finally open one! A few months ago, during a late-night chat with my sister, everything clicked and it gave me the final spark I needed. I decided right then and there: I’m going to do it.
I took the courses, sorted the insurance, did endless research, and we officially opened our doors in April! It has been the best decision I’ve ever made. This little pink shed has given me so much joy, a renewed purpose, and has officially made my dream a reality.
