When it’s handmade it’s just got that something extra. We all know it’s the making that makes it special. Ok, so cheesy pancakes are now our favourite way to bring out the Branston Rich & Fruity Brown Sauce!

The recipe goes like this...

Branston Rich & Fruity Brown Sauce, to serve
250g grated cheese (we recommend Gruyère, cheddar or mozzarella)
200ml milk
3 large eggs, separated
200g self raising flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
25g melted butter
Unsalted butter, to cook
Chopped parsley, to garnish
Bacon, to serve

Combine the flour, baking powder, melted butter, milk, three-quarters of the cheese, and egg yolks to form a smooth, thick batter. Whisk the egg whites to stiff peaks then fold them into the batter. Fry a ladleful of the batter in a little butter in a pan on medium heat. When the pancake slide in the pan, add a small handful of the cheese and cover with more batter. Flip and cook to your liking. Enjoy with bacon, a little parsley, and lots of Branston Rich & Fruity Brown Sauce!
