Today we had the privilege of visiting the incredible Kasteel Brewery, one of Belgium’s most impressive brewing destinations. 🏰🍺

A huge thank you to Benjamin and the team for giving us an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour and sharing the history, craftsmanship, and passion that goes into every Kasteel beer. From the brewhouse to the cellars, it was fascinating to see how these world-class Belgian beers are created.

But the highlight? 👀

We were given a sneak peek at some exciting new beers currently in development... and trust us, Belgian beer fans are going to want to keep a close eye on what's coming next. 🤫🍻

We're sworn to secrecy for now, but let's just say there are some very exciting things on the horizon.

Day 2 of the Beerhunter Belgian Beer Tour took us to the legendary De Halve Maan Brewery in the heart of beautiful Brugge 🍻🇧🇪

Home of the world-famous Brugse Zot and Straffe Hendrik beers, this historic family brewery delivered an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We were expertly guided around the brewery by Hakim, whose passion and knowledge brought the brewing history of Brugge to life.

One of the most fascinating things we learned was about De Halve Maan’s incredible beer pipeline — a 2-mile underground pipeline that connects the historic city-centre brewery to their out-of-town bottling plant, pumping up to 1,500 gallons of beer per hour beneath the streets of Brugge. An ingenious solution that preserves the charm of the city while keeping the beer flowing!

Fantastic beer, rich history, and a truly unique brewery experience. Santé! 🍺
