And then you realise… this is their childhood. 🥹🤎

While we’re busy thinking about the next job, the next coffee, the next order and everything that needs done, they’re just busy being little.

Running through the grounds of Hezlett House, exploring the gardens, getting mucky, making up games and thinking it’s completely normal that this is where Mum and Dad work. 🌿

One day they won’t be this small, and these ordinary summer evenings will probably be the ones we’d give anything to have back.

So here’s a little reminder to ourselves to notice them while we’re in them.

These are the good old days. 🤎

And somewhere along the way… this became our Friday & Saturday nights. 🍔

Beef raised on our farm. Food cooked fresh. Beef-dripping chips. Weekend specials that change depending on what we fancy cooking.

All served from a little trailer on the North Coast, with a fairly decent view in the background.

Still feels a bit mad when we stop and think about it.

Thanks for keeping the hatch busy, coming back, bringing your friends and making Farmer’s Kitchen what it’s becoming. 🤎

The farm shop is stocked up with plenty of the good stuff for the long weekend — fresh local produce, sourdough, meat from the farm and lots of treats for the Bank Holiday table.

What a summer. 🤎☀️

Looking back at the last few months, it’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are.

The busy mornings, coffees in the sunshine, shelves being emptied and restocked, burgers flying out of the hatch, families filling the gardens, familiar faces returning week after week… and so many new ones discovering us for the first time.

You’ve made Seaview Farms feel like so much more than a farm shop and kitchen this summer.

To everyone who visited, queued, bought a coffee, shared a burger, supported our local producers, told a friend, tagged us in a story or simply stopped for a chat — thank you.

We’ve loved every bit of it. Even the slightly chaotic bits. 😂

But we’re not saying goodbye to summer just yet…

There’s one more Bank Holiday weekend. 👀☀️

Come for the coffee… accidentally stay all afternoon. ☕️🌿

One of our favourite things about Seaview Farms is all the little pockets to sit, slow down and enjoy it.

Find a sunny corner, grab a coffee and a bake, bring the kids for a wander — or settle in with a burger from Farmer’s Kitchen and watch the evening go by. 🤎

No rush. No fancy plans. Just good food, good coffee and a pretty special setting in the grounds of Hezlett House.

Pick your favourite spot and stay awhile. 🌳

We hold our hands up… 🙋‍♂️

The Farmer’s Kitchen isn’t always the fastest.

Sometimes there’s a queue. Sometimes there’s a wait. And sometimes we sell out.

But there’s a reason for that.

We’re cooking real food, fresh to order, using ingredients we genuinely care about. Our beef comes from our own farm, our chips are cooked in our own beef tallow, and our weekend specials are made from scratch in small batches.

We could make it quicker.
We could buy more things in ready-made.
We could cook huge quantities in advance.

But then it wouldn’t be what we set out to create.

So when you stand waiting for your burger, you’re not waiting on “fast food” — you’re waiting on food that has a story behind it. Food we’ve farmed, prepared and cooked with a bit of pride. 🌾🍔

And seeing so many of you sitting in the grounds of Hezlett House, eating together, bringing the kids, coming back week after week and recommending us to your friends… that makes every mad service completely worth it.

Thank you for keeping us busy. 🤎

Good food takes a little time. We think it’s worth the wait.

Coffee in hand, kids running around, something good to eat and absolutely no rush to be anywhere else.

We started cooking tonight’s special YESTERDAY. 👀🔥

14 hours low & slow in the smoker… and tonight our Seaview Farms Angus beef brisket is ready.

Our beef. Raised on our farm. Smoked low & slow. Served right here at Farmer’s Kitchen.

We’ve only made a limited amount, and there won’t be another batch hiding out the back…

When it’s gone, it’s GONE.

We’re bringing two specials to the hatch this weekend — both made fresh, using meat raised right here at Seaview Farms.

🐔 FRIDAY — Pasture-Raised Chicken Sandwich
Our own Seaview Farms pasture-raised chicken, cooked fresh and piled into one seriously good sandwich.

🥩 SATURDAY — Beef Brisket Loaded Fries
Slow-cooked Seaview Farms beef brisket loaded over our beef-dripping chips. Proper weekend food.

No mass production. No huge batches. Just our own farm-raised meat, cooked fresh and served until it’s gone.

And when it’s gone… it’s gone. 👀🔥
