Join us on Friday for storytelling and community supper at Henbant.

We're excited to welcome Corinne Harragin with her show - Troubled Waters.

Described as 'genuinely very funny... A masterful storyteller’ (Backstage Bristol), these freshly told legends of the wild & wet conjure leaping salmon, fishtail women, mythical raves & sacred springs as we explore what moves beneath the surface.

We'll be serving supper from 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:30 pm.

These nights are some of our favourites to host. Whether you're coming just for the the show or for food as well, it will be great to see you.

The world may never have felt more bonkers, the solutions remain simple… #
At the end of this month we’re welcoming Richard Perkins to Henbant for an immersive regenerative farming course looking at how productive, financially viable and ecologically rich farms can actually function in the real world.

Over the week we’ll explore:
🌱 regenerative food production
🌳 agroforestry & grazing systems
💧 water & landscape design
🐓 livestock integration
📈 farm economics
🛠 practical resilience
🔥 and what it really means to build a life connected to land and community

Henbant is not a demonstration model built in a lab. It’s a messy, evolving, working farm trying to ask honest questions about how humans and landscapes can thrive together.

We still have a few places left and would love to fill the final spaces with good people. We can also have the capacity to subsidise a place if would make it possible for you to come.

Keynote speaker Jay Griffiths (‘Kith’) opens our festivities, exploring The Riddle of the Childscape.

A relaxed family weekend celebrating the wonder of natural childhoods, and the presence of people on the land. We’re inviting you to share our whole space for the weekend, and bring your children out into nature to explore their wilder sides and connect to the wonders of freedom and exploration. You can run free and play, join a workshop, sit in a hammock and stare at the sky.

We’ll be largely holding low-tech spaces so you will need to be comfortable leaving your phones and devices behind. Almost all our workshops/sessions are being hosted by volunteers to keep costs low. We’ll be putting our young people at the heart of this weekend; for the adults there’ll be time to relax and breathe, join in or not, sweat it out in the sauna, share your vision of the future we want for all our children.

This is the tastiest, healthiest and most environmentally positive meat I think you can buy.

This evening we will be bringing back from the butchers another of our delicious Henbant cows, he's had a great life sequestering carbon and maintaining our pastures and woodlands here at Henbant. He's only ever eaten our herbs, bushes and grasses and he's never been treated with ANY pesticides, wormers etc this way he has helped us build the healthy abundant system that is Henbant.

You would get 10kg of beef which is made up by laying all the cuts of the whole cow out and then dividing it all up fairly into 10kg bags, as such you will get a couple of more expensive steaks, a couple of cheaper steaks, some slow cook, some silverside and top side roasting joints.. some mince, burgers, shin etc.

It will all be packaged ready to go straight in your freezer.

It will ready for you collect from 7pm this evening. We don't have freezer capacity to hold the whole cow overnight so ideally you would be able to pick up that evening but it's not essential.

I was vegeta***n from age 4 to 25, how this meat is produced matters a lot to us, and if matters to you too, this is the one to go for. It supports not only your own health and happiness but a whole ecosystem and a model way of farming.
