I've been looking forward to popping into Pitchfork & Provision for a while now and yesterday I was near Llandeilo on for work and got the chance to grab some lunch...

Straight away, the fantastic pastries and Coaltown Coffee Roasters made me hungry and ready to order.
Sadly being too late for the specials I went for the Gammon hash with home made sauerkraut... First thing staring up at me was the bright sunny yolk of the fried egg sat on top of the potato hash and salty shreds of homemade gammon with a fresh, crunchy red cabbage sauerkraut to balance it out.

Took advantage of the on site deli too, bought some goat's and sheep's milk cheeses to enjoy at home.

Great ethos, lovely staff, fresh produce, cooked perfectly, great asset to the local community of Llandeilo 👌

I keep finding that the best food spots are usually the ones with the best people, you can't really buy or make personality or care and attention! Well Little Steak Hut, Newport, Wales is a grand slam for personality and good grub, no wonder Mark has generated so many accolades and such a devoted following 🙏

The menu is an easy one to work out, your choice of carbs (or not) with meat, veg, cheese and sauce! This was right down my street as it's hard to find a place you can dip in and out of and get some clean fragrant rice instead or bread or chips!

The Rice Box - Grilled thinly sliced steak, pepper's, mushrooms, onions, cheese and PEPPERCORN SAUCE!!! over boiled rice.
It was so nice that I didn't come up for air during the consumption, put my fork in the box and slumped back in my seat to let out a growl or satisfaction 🙏☺️

As an all round experience you won't be disappointed from food quality, friendly staff, price point and his fantastic directions to the local Ford garage 😜👌

Go check out Marks story too, I've never heard of so much happen to one person and still be such a formidable force in the community! This man is a true inspiration ❤️
