Bridging the Gap Bridging the Gap - Providing emergency food parcels for individuals and families
G.A.P. - God And People
Tuesday and Wednesday 10-13:00

BTG was formed on 24th May 2011 following the prompting of the Holy Spirit to reach out and meet the needs of the community. The scriptures at Isaiah 58, Matthew 25 vs 34-40, James 2 vs 14-18 (and others) were the foundation for this guidance. BTG provides emergency food parcels for individuals and families who are currently facing a financial crisis in their lives

BTG works with professionals fr

om local council and voluntary organisations operating in the community within Caerphilly County Borough. BTG provides food parcels on recommendation by these professionals using a unique and secure food coupon system. Those meeting the criteria are provided with a voucher which enables them to exchange it for a supply of non perishable food that will assist them in their current crisis. The food parcels are collectable from the Elim Church, Caerphilly on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings between 10:00 and 12:00. The church coffee shop is also open at these times and those collecting parcels are able to have a free hot drink and a friendly chat if they wish.
