To clarify -
Payment:
New Garden accepts cash only, so that means no cheques or card payments. Nor do we subscribe to an on-line food ordering scheme.

Delivery Charge:
There is no such thing as 'Free' delivery. Costs have to be covered one way or another. If you are told delivery is free, then costs are hidden by charging every order, including collections an averaged cost. New Garden will add a nominal charge for your delivery based on distance.

Late Deliveries:
New Garden is a very popular take away service so we do get rather busy. 6-9 pm is the busiest and extremely so at weekends, and as meals are prepared to order, delays should be anticipated. When given a time for delivery or collection at these times, it is at best only estimated so cannot be precise. The vast majority of our customers are understanding of this, and we appreciate their patience when our service is later than expected.

SORRY - we sometimes fail!
New Garden is a very busy take away with hundreds of dishes being prepared each evening. We are proud to be providing a service where ALL dishes are individually prepared and cooked to order. We do NOT have 'Ready to Go' dishes nor pots of simmering food waiting to be ladled into containers.

Our front desk staff handle casual orders, telephone orders, difficult orders, order checking, payments, and delivery coordination - a juggling act to behold at its peak. You might appreciate that they do get under a lot of pressure during the busy period, as do our colleagues in the kitchen.

So, dealing with multiple orders, (some of which are for large parties), and varying dish cooking times to meet with timed deliveries, we might fail to complete them in good time. We do work fast and furious to avoid this, but occasionally it will happen, especially when its hot in the kitchen.

We thank all of our customers for their patience and understanding.
