Three years today since we lost Kelvin.

Not a day goes by where he isn’t thought about. So much of what Pickled Pumpkin is today has his fingerprints all over it , the standards, the ambition, and the belief that we could always do better.

The company has grown beyond anything we imagined back then, and I know he’d have had plenty to say about it all.

One thing we often think about is how much our industry has changed. Hospitality has traditionally been tough, with long hours and a culture that often expected people to just get on with it. We’ve worked hard to build something different, supporting our chefs and teams, encouraging conversations around mental health, and moving away from the idea that 80-hour weeks are something to be proud of.

That’s something I hope he’d be proud of too.

There are moments in life where someone gives you the confidence to believe in yourself before you can see it yourself. Kelvin was that person for us.

Three years on, we’re still growing, still pushing forward, and still building on the foundations he helped create.

🍔🎉 Burgers, birthdays, and celebrations done properly.

We had the pleasure of bringing our Burger Bar to Shack Revolution for Lee’s 40th Birthday Party—and it certainly delivered. Stacked burgers, premium toppings, great people, and a buzzing atmosphere made it an event worth talking about.
