Leeks, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, curly kale, purple broccoli and onions - all grown with love and a lot of Hebridean weather! There's nothing better than cooking straight from soil to supper. 💜💜💜

Another busy day on the Croft we've been able to build our new polytunnel using recycled materials, including repurposed fish farm tubing and recycled tanks for raised beds. It's a big step in our journey towards growing food all year round and becoming more self-sufficient on the croft. We're excited to get planting and see it flourish.
Last week we also planted 100 new trees, with another 140 arriving soon, building for the future one step at a time 💜 🌳 🌽 🌳 💜

Sunday bath time, Dudu is our special needs boy, while he was in the incubator there was a power cut which meant his feet didn’t develop properly, we made him little shoes to help strengthen his legs,he is thriving, unfortunately he can’t perch so the others p**p on him in the night, apart that he’s a beautiful gentle Jesey Giant that we adore 🥰🥰🥰

It’s been a busy weekend on the Croft, Polytunel is making progress, we found some plastic tubing on the shore left by the salmon farms, which we removed. Hopefully we can put it to use! Love a Sunday jaunt, and the weather was just perfect 💜
