Today I am celebrating Pancake Day (one of the best days of the year...) with a big thank you to the farmers who make it possible.

From the wheat in our flour to the eggs, milk, and butter – Let’s give thanks to the hardworking hands that bring these ingredients to our tables!

Preparing for lambs & calves, working the fields to drill maize & corn, spreading fertiliser to help the grass grow

I absolutely LOVE pancake day, in fact it’s one of if not my favourite time of year! But without farmers, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the beautiful thing that is the humble pancake. From the dairy farmers that provide the milk, to the poultry farmers and their eggs to the arable farmers growing crops to be milled into flour.

So this pancake day, raise a toast (or flip a pancake) to the British farmers who allow us to enjoy this great day!
