We’re delighted to welcome Isabella Rhodes to Douglas Green Consulting, who recently joined the team as a Graduate Farm Business Consultant.

Isabella graduated from the University of Plymouth with a degree in Agriculture and brings practical experience across dairy, beef and sheep farming. She is looking forward to developing her knowledge, building on her practical experience and gaining further experience as part of the Douglas Green Consulting team.

Outside of work, Isabella is extremely dedicated to showing South Devon cattle and primestock animals, regularly attending shows across the South West.

We’re pleased to have Isabella on board and look forward to supporting her as she develops her career with us. Please join us in welcoming her to the team!

🥛 Are milk prices finally turning a corner?

Freshways has announced a major 6ppl increase for October, taking its standard litre price to 38ppl.

It follows increases from several other milk buyers as production eases and dairy markets begin to show signs of recovery after a bruising period for producers.

Freshways: "We believe that the obstacles we faced earlier in the year as a result of oversupply are now beginning to ease..."
