There’s been no let up this year, overcoming problem after problem with the build of new systems and infrastructure inside the mill. It was all beginning to get a bit on top! Cameron is the man behind packing and fulfilling all of your orders and helping me through this years chaos, so I made the promise to him that we would go fishing when it’s all done.
This week we finally made it! Both cats are out of the bag with the ‘ProMalt’ and ‘Slow Brew’ projects. So we downed tools to put the finished products to work, deciding to give a massive sailing pit our best punt. 😬🤞🏻
Arriving early we spent an hour watching from one side of the lake. We saw nothing, so drove around the opposite side and saw 2 within 15 minutes. 👌🏻
3 x 5kg bags of Slow Brew mixed particle and a 5kg bag of ProMalt boilie with a lick of Natrepel went in. Full of anticipation, the night came and went disappointingly!
Crazy crayfish populations got me thinking i’d need to repeat that heavy baiting for the 2nd night. 2nd time lucky I managed one! 36 and a half pounds of big pit mirror! 👌🏻😍
My first real session in almost 12months, much needed and thoroughly enjoyed! So much confidence in these products, I’m genuinely so excited to hear what you lot think!
If you’ve already ordered, I hope you excuse my 2 day break, it took everything to remove myself from the mill for a couple of days, but i’m so glad that I did! DPD will certainly have a busy day on Monday that’s for sure! 😬🙏🏻🫶🏻
