🍺 PIXIE BREWING OPEN DAY — THIS SATURDAY! 🍺
Saturday 29 August • 12–8pm
📍 Wilsmere Down Farm, Barrington, CB22 7SQ
Find us through the blue gate off Orwell Road, or walk up from Barrington village via the public footpath.
We’ll have a range of our own Pixie beers pouring, plus some very special guest drinks, great food, coffee and plenty of room inside the brewery.
🍺 FROM PIXIE BREWING
PIXIE PILS — 4.5%
A crisp lager brewed with Kveik yeast from Norway. Clean, refreshing and very drinkable.
LONGEST GREEN — 4.6% HAZY PALE ALE
A session-strength hazy pale that reflects the kind of beers we love to drink and make.
INCOGNITO — 10.5% IMPERIAL STOUT
Packed with roasted malts to create a dark, rich, sweet and chocolatey beer. Definitely one for slow sipping and indulgence.
🍻 SPECIAL GUEST — IVO BREWERY
We’re really excited to have some fresh cask beer from our friends at Ivo Brewery in St Ives.
YOU’VE SEAN’D IT — 4.2% BEST BITTER
A full-flavoured, full-bodied ruby-red Best Bitter brewed with six malts and a trio of hops.
🍐 SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT…
On a recent holiday in Herefordshire we paid a visit to the amazing, award-winning cider and perry makers at Little Pomona.
After some extensive “research”, we selected a keg of their:
TABLE PERRY — 7%
Perry is a seriously under-appreciated drink in the UK. Naturally fermented from British pears, this is one of the finest we’ve tasted — and we think you’re going to love it.
🍔 FOOD, COFFEE & SWEET STUFF
Burger Art UK will be serving master-tier burgers, fries and big vibes throughout the day.
And Stella Dolce will have speciality coffee, soft drinks and a range of delicious sweets and desserts.
🌦️ And the weather?
The forecast is looking a little iffy, but don’t let that put you off. We’ll have plenty of shelter and loads of room inside the brewery between the tanks, so we’ll be pouring whatever the weather.
