It’s a special day — the day my Lord proved His love for us. Thank you, Lord.
Just a little update, and thank you to everyone who has been praying for me — I feel it.
The melanoma is aggressive and has moved like a wicked game of chess. This is not God’s doing — but I trust Him with my life, and I know He will rescue this weary traveller one way or another.
I don’t feel I have long left, and that is devastating. My heart aches most for my husband Paul, my children — Lyndsey, Philip, Keith & Laura — my greatest treasure, and my dear friends.
I hold so much love for my family — my daughter-in-law Jess (a friend for even longer), and Ian, my laugh-buddy son-in-law.
And my wonderful grandchildren: Jacob, Lizzy, Nicole, Leah, Connah, Katie, Joshua, Maisie, Amber, Rebecca, Mia, Noah, and our new little Baba Robyn. Also my granddaughter-in-law Chloe and grandson-in-law Jake, and our precious new great-granddaughter Daisy.
And the café… I love it. The people, the atmosphere, the community — it has meant everything to me. I’m so proud I gave it my all in this last year and a half. You truly are my community.
I believe in a God who loves to connect us. What we’ve had together is special — it’s beautiful.
I’m quite weak now, but please know this — you are all in my heart, and I love you.
I’ll try to write again soon for a little natter.
Have a good weekend. Hold on to what is good. Love each other well. Make the most of every day.
Lorra love,
Sharon ###
