What is this magic I hear you cry?

Scything!

I like being present when I mow. I like not hurting creatures, like frogs, slow worms, mice and hedgehogs. I like the peace and quiet. I like the gentle exercise, it's actually a lot like doing Tai Chi.

If you have grass and would like to have a go at scything, or brush up on your skills, join us for a FREE session in Camelford on 27 June funded by Cornwall National Landscape through Bodmin Beauty and the Beast project. There’s also soil sampling, to learn what’s in the soil and why growing regeneratively helps, and lunch is provided, prepared by Andrew at Riverside Cafe & Bistro.
