Highland Cow rescue! 🤠

She is unhurt and unconcerned that she fell off either a forty foot cliff or for 10foot waterfalls. 😅

Fresh Bluefaced Leicester home from the Campbeltown tup sale today. 🐑

We were planning to bid anyway, but the second we spotted the neighbour throwing his hand up, the budget went right out the window.

Better luck next time, Harry! 💸

Happy Birthday Gayle!! 🍾 Fun Fact: Gayle is much older than me. 😏

🐂Just like that Whitestone fold has tripled in size.

6 new females (and 3 bullocks).

Target was to get 10 breeding females this year so we're only 1 off! 😬

A wee throw back to me not learning my lesson in 11 years. 🤣Ill need to remember to look the tow chains out in 2032.

Its just one of those days...

Will probably just rip of the other side and use a ratchet strap to hold it together long term. 🤣

Last of this year’s topping done! 🚜💨

Summer got away from us and the weeds started taking over, but knocking back the heavy canopy now stops the rushes crowding out the grass and lets a fresh bite flush through before winter.

Plan for Spring:
🌱 Spray to clear the rushes

🌾 Lime the ground & fix drainage
As every farmer knows, time and capital are always a tightrope 🤣 But step by step, we’ll get the ground back in order.
