Another little L236 Super White from one of our previous clutches. 🖤🤍🐟

It’s always satisfying seeing them develop from tiny fry into beautifully marked juveniles. This little one is already showing some cracking patterning — and every L236 seems to develop its own unique look.

With another pair mating now, hopefully there’ll be another generation on the way soon! 🤞🥚🐟

A bit of pleco romance going on! 😍🐟
Our L236 Super Whites are tucked away in the cave and getting down to business. 🤞 The male has her well inside, so hopefully this pairing results in a lovely clutch of eggs very soon.
There’s something brilliant about watching these fish go through their natural breeding behaviour — now comes the waiting game! 🖤🤍

🤍🖤 L236 Super White Plecos enjoying a prawn! 🦐

A beautiful trio of L236 Super Whites tucking into a piece of prawn together.

It’s great to watch these fish come out and feed so confidently — and even better when you get three of them together showing off those incredible black-and-white markings. 😍

The contrast and patterning on L236 Super Whites really is something special, and every fish seems to have its own unique markings.

A little prawn certainly gets their attention! 🦐🐟

🖤🤍 L46 Zebra Plecos – Breeding Behavior Caught on Camera

A lovely bit of behaviour to capture — two adult Hypancistrus zebra (L46 Zebra Plecos) spawning in the cave.

The male has the female secured inside and they’re getting down to business. After all the work that goes into keeping and conditioning these fish, seeing a pair reach this stage never gets old.

Now comes the waiting game. 🤞 Hopefully there’ll be a good clutch of fertile eggs, followed by a cave full of tiny striped youngsters.

One of the most rewarding parts of keeping L46 is being able to observe behaviour like this and, hopefully, contribute to successful captive breeding of this incredible species.

Anyone else got L46 spawning at the moment? Would be great to see how everyone’s breeding season is going. 🐟
