We took a small team to the alpaca National show (5) managed to miss one class so showed 4.

We had a fab time and came away with 2 Champions, the dark Sires Progeny class (Khartoum), a fourth and a sixth.

It was lovely catching up with friend and a special thank you to the judges and the organisers.

Love this fleece, 5 year old Thistledown Luka of NWS. Just being sheared photo. (No enhancements just natural light).

Had a fabulous day at Northumberland County Show. Lots of mud on the ground but beautiful sunny weather. Didn’t get many photos, only the females in the morning and then the Supreme Champion. NWS gariboldi (sire: Thistledown Luka of NWS Dam: Wellow Elsa).

Thankyou the Barbara Heatherington for fantastic verbal reasoning, to the organisers Paul and Rachel and also to the others helping out at the show. Finally to our own support team who are doing a fantastic job at showing.

I decided at 5.30 this morning to get up and check the females and there was Cria number 2 sat there quite happy. Popped a coat on and after putting mum and him in the cresh I went in for a coffee and to get ready. Back out to feed only to find Cria number 3 had appeared. Seems mum didn’t want a white Cria. Really looking for to seeing how both of these 2 develop even with the mucky disguise.

Fabulous day at NWAG show yesterday. I didn’t get many photos but loved these 2. Our supreme champion Suri NWS Gladstone who we didn’t take to the National due to having what looks like a scruffy fleece due to there being too much of it. Also our 2 light females NWS Lady Godiva: Champion and NWS Greta Garbo: Reserve Champion, with sisterly rivalry.

Thankyou to Julia for fantastic judging and great aural reasoning, to the organisers for a well run show and of course the support team who did a great job.
