Rhosyn โ€” the Welsh word for rose โ€” is a vintage traditional method sparkling from Velfrey Vineyard, made from their 2021 harvest of Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir. Gentle skin contact gives it a delicate blush, and 22 months on the lees lends real depth and complexity.

Floral, fruity, and beautifully balanced โ€” with cherry blossom, red fruit, a fine mousse, and a long finish. A Silver medal winner at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2024.

If you've noticed things aren't looking quite as s**c and span as they usually do in our shop at the moment, you are not mistaken. We're having a little update and so our Penarth Road shop will be closed to the public on Saturday 6th and Monday 8th June due to refurbishment works.

We will remain open to trade as usual on both days, and our online shop at finewinesdirectuk.com will be open as normal throughout.

We were delighted that Marek Wilmowski joined us at our portfolio tasting last month where he showcased one of the latest releases from Lebanese producer, Chateau Musar.
