Who says a utility room has to be purely practical? This stunning space proves that even the hardest-working room in the home can be beautifully designed!

Created using the elegant Stoneham Latitude collection in Jet Black Walnut, the cabinetry is complemented by striking black mirrored glass, a statement triple-layer cornice with gold inserts, and luxurious gold finishing touches throughout.

The beautiful worktops and full-height splashback are Fugen Cotswold Gold, supplied and installed by Natural Stone Surfaces (Precision Stone) the warm gold veining is the perfect match for this dramatic scheme. 🖤✨

There is something incredibly satisfying about seeing an initial kitchen design brought beautifully to life.

This elegant design features Stoneham’s distinctive Aspen Shaker collection in Cashmere, complemented by luxurious Calacatta Borghini worktops from Cardiff Marble.

Every element was carefully considered to create a kitchen that feels timeless, welcoming and wonderfully individual, from the beautifully illuminated glazed cabinets and statement mantle to the integrated wine storage and generous central island.

The soft Cashmere cabinetry, warm lighting and striking veined surfaces work together beautifully, resulting in a sophisticated kitchen that still feels relaxed and inviting.

We absolutely love seeing how closely the completed room captures the original vision although we think the reality looks even better! 😍

Our wonderful Saturday team member, Cayden, will sadly be leaving us in September as he heads off to university. While we’re incredibly excited for him, it means we’re now looking for someone brilliant to join the Kitchens by Avantgarde family!

This is a varied Saturday role based in our Cardiff showroom, helping us to:

✨ Welcome customers and make them feel at home
✨ Keep our beautiful showroom tidy and presentable
✨ Prepare refreshments for visitors
✨ Assist with light administrative tasks
✨ Provide general support to our friendly team

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, confident and approachable
• Reliable and well presented
• Organised with a positive, can-do attitude
• Comfortable speaking with customers
• Happy to get involved and help wherever needed

No kitchen industry experience is necessary, as full guidance will be provided. This could be ideal for a student or anyone looking for regular Saturday work in a welcoming, professional environment.

What was once a completely stripped-back room has now been transformed into this striking and beautifully individual kitchen.

At the heart of the design is Stoneham Kitchens elegant Pitch cabinetry, hand-painted in Farrow & Ball’s Absolute Black. Paired with crisp white worktops, warm brass details and a classic monochrome floor, the result feels bold, timeless and full of character.

The centrepiece is a completely unique freestanding island with an integrated breakfast bar designed especially for the room and the way our clients wanted to use their new space.

From exposed walls and ceiling timbers to this stunning finished kitchen… what a transformation! 🖤
