6 months of HEB / 6 mis o HEB! Happy half Birthday to us 🎈

We can’t believe how fast the last six months have gone since we set-up shop at in January.

We’re so thrilled with the response to our little bakery and providing gluten free bakes to you all has been such a joy and a pleasure 💛

To celebrate we’re going to be announcing a giveaway later this week, so keep your eyes peeled to be in with a chance to get your hands on some HEB goodies, on us!

This is your Saturday reminder that our click & collect ordering opens tomorrow Sunday 26th at 12 o’clock midday! 🕺

You’ll order on our shiny new website www.hebbakery.co.uk which will be open until Wednesday 29th, 12 o’clock midday.

We’ll then get baking on Saturday morning (1st of August) before you head down to our kitchen @ Nant Y Bach Farm, Llangrannog, to pick up your fresh GF bakes, at your selected time 🌞

Drum roll please 🥁🥁…

We’re launching a CLICK & COLLECT. Yep that’s right, you can now pick up your fave HEB GF goodies on a weekend. 🍞🍪🧁🥖

You asked, we’ve delivered 🤝🏼 When we launched HEB at the beginning of the year, we didn’t quite anticipate the demand for GF bakes and it’s been the most rewarding thing to connect with you all. But…we know there are still so many of you who either can’t make the markets or struggle to get there in time before your favourite bits are gone!

But alas…weekend pick ups are now on the menu so whether you’re a loyal customer or someone who has never managed to get your hands on our bakes, we hope the click & collect weekend option makes it a little easier for you to live your best GF life (or just enjoy our bakes whether your gf or not!!)

HOW IT WORKS
☁️ Click & Collect is every other Saturday from our kitchen in Llangrannog
☁️ You’ll place an order on our website and select a time slot (slots available from 8:30am-1:00pm)
☁️ We’ll then bake and package up your goodies on the morning of collection
☁️ You’ll then come and pick up on a Saturday morning in your selected time slot

Note
☁️ Ordering will launch at midday THIS Sunday (26th July) via our website and will stay open until midday Wednesday 29th. We will then reopen the online ordering on Sunday 9th of August for pickup on the 15th of August and so on.

☁️ We’ll post again on Saturday so you can begin browsing and again before go live, on Sunday so there is no missing this new and very exciting opportunity for GF bakes!

Full-circle moment!! 💫

I was back at Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn on Tuesday, this time not as a student but sharing the HEB story with the GCSE Hospitality & Catering students!

We also talked about coeliac disease, the importance of food safety, preventing cross-contamination, and the responsibility hospitality businesses have to make sure gluten-free food is genuinely safe for those who need it.

A huge thank you to Mr Jason Retter for inviting me back, it was a real privilege and a pleasure!
