There’s just something about a late August evening in the garden. ☀️

The beds are bursting, the plants are going wild but there’s a little hint of Autumn starting to creep in and the air has a slightly cooler breeze to it.

There’s still so much growing out here, rows and rows of beautiful veg so I’m planning on spending as much time as I can out here enjoying it before the season starts to turn once again 🍂

I have been known to only choose varieties of veg based solely on their name alone and as I am an October baby, this ‘Dark Opal’ (my birthstone) Basil did not disappoint! Just look at those lush dark leaves and the smell is just incredible!

I swear if selling tomato side shoots was a thing I would be a millionaire in about a week. Cutting them off is basically a full time job! 😆

I have left a few to do their thing this year just to see the difference but it is utter chaos already!

Does everyone trim their side shoots or just let them go wild? 🍅
