Carlisle Brewing Co We make b**r because we love b**r, it's awesome! What's not to love about locally made ale 😊 Alain & Alison Davis set up Carlisle Brewing Co in September 2013.

It’s a small family run microbrewery that was initially set up in outbuildings at the rear of their freehouse, The Spinners Arms in Cummersdale, Carlisle. The Carlisle Brewing Co is the first brewery in Carlisle for 27 years. The brewery expanded in October 2015 and now operates from a small unit in Carlisle’s Kingstown Industrial Estate. They’ve spent a long time drinking real ale and having had a pub since 2007 selling it as well. They love the tradition and the history surrounding British ales, and as a brewery are proud to be involved in the renewed interest in Carlisle’s long brewing heritage.

I've driven past this church so many times over the years without realising what was inside both the church and churchyard. Stunning stones over a thousand years old showing both Celtic and Christian imagery. If you're ever in Gosforth, visit St Mary's Church!

Ended up at Jennings yesterday afternoon for the regional meeting of our trade association SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers and Associates) yesterday. Have to say thank you to Buster for the brewery tour and hospitality. Part of the meeting focused on the importance of highlighting the fact that we're an independent brewery. Did you know you can check out if the b**r you're drinking is brewed by an independent brewery at indieb**r.uk

If only every delivery day could be this dry and sunny!!! Just a shame I couldn't stop and take a photo of everything.
