🐷 Fresh Pork is Back – Two Weekends Running!🐷

Following last weekend’s success, we’re back with another batch of **fresh Welsh pork** – available from tomorrow afternoon.

Joan’s on vet duties 👩🏻‍⚕️ tomorrow morning, so our fresh pork will be ready a little later than our usual morning release.

Our NEW Pork & Apple Sausages were a huge hit, so they’re back again! 🍎🌭

Four years married today ❤️

Four years married, 10 years together of laughter, hard work, early mornings, late nights, and building a life together. From busy days on the farm, long days at work, to everything life has thrown our way, I wouldn’t want it any other way 🤍

🐮 New arrivals are keeping us busy on the farm! ❤️

One of our newest arrivals did give us a bit of a scare on Sunday. Although it wasn’t as obviously hot as the recent heatwave, it was very humid and one of those deceptively warm days.

He was absolutely fine on our morning check, but by lunchtime we noticed he was breathing much faster than normal out in the field. We brought him and his mum straight into one of our isolation pens, where we could monitor him closely. His temperature was raised, so he was treated with fluids, electrolytes and plenty of cold towels to help bring it back down.

Thankfully, within an hour he was back to his bright, happy self. ❤️

It’s a reminder that it’s not just scorching sunshine we have to watch out for. Humid weather can be just as challenging for young calves, and things can change incredibly quickly.

The extra checks, long days and sleepless nights are all worth it when you see them happily back on their feet.
