In beekeeping, "Fool's Spring" refers to a deceptively warm period in February that triggers early bee activity

This often leads inexperienced beekeepers to assume spring has arrived and that the hive is safe from winter

This is not the case, bees are leaving the hives for cleansing flights as have been in the hive for so long over the winter period, Please be PATIENT just heft the hive and ensure sufficient stores are present, if not feed fondant!
