We are thrilled to share that Goitre Fach Honey producers of premium locally sourced Welsh honey, has been appointed as the Official Honey Supplier to Swansea City Football Club!

Our natural honey will now fuel the Swans — providing goodness to players and Staff.
Whether it's for natural energy boosts, team wellness, or matchday treats, we're proud to bring the best of local beekeeping to Wales' finest club.

We're incredibly pleased with how our newest 2026 apiary is progressing.

It's fantastic to see such strong development across the site, with a mixture of recently expanded nucs now promoted into full hives and well on their way to becoming productive honey-producing colonies, alongside our already established hives.

The colonies are building well, the queens are performing exactly as we'd hoped, and the bees are making the most of the season. Every strong colony is another step towards a successful honey harvest.

A lot of hard work goes into building an apiary from the ground up, so it's rewarding to see everything coming together. Here's hoping the weather continues to cooperate and the nectar keeps flowing! 🌼🐝

In beekeeping, "Fool's Spring" refers to a deceptively warm period in February that triggers early bee activity

This often leads inexperienced beekeepers to assume spring has arrived and that the hive is safe from winter

This is not the case, bees are leaving the hives for cleansing flights as have been in the hive for so long over the winter period, Please be PATIENT just heft the hive and ensure sufficient stores are present, if not feed fondant!
