Official Statement – Closure of Carnoustie Distillery
To our customers, partners, friends, and local community,
It is with deep sadness that we announce the closure of Carnoustie Distillery.
Since opening our doors in September 2017, our small distillery in Angus was built with a simple purpose: to create honest, handcrafted spirits that reflected the character of Scotland, our coastline, and the people who supported us. What began as a father-and-son venture in a log cabin near Carnoustie Golf Course became something far greater than we ever imagined.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of welcoming visitors from around the world, sharing stories, and unforgettable moments with our community. Every bottle produced at Carnoustie Distillery carried not only spirit, but passion, hard work, and pride.
Production at Carnoustie Distillery has ceased and after exiting stock has cleared, the distillery will close permanently.
This decision has not been made lightly. For us, this distillery was never simply a business it was a family dream, built by hand and sustained by the loyalty and encouragement of so many people over the years.
We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to every customer, stockist, supplier, supporter, and friend who stood beside us throughout this journey. Your support meant more than words can properly express.
While the stills may now fall silent, we hope the memories, friendships, and spirits created here will continue to live on long after the doors have closed.

Another great Arbroath Market!

Arbroath Market returns to Victoria Park on Sunday 19th July, from 10 - 2.

Brilliant market planned, fantastic music line-up and kids activities. Delicious local produce, fab local stallholders. Wonderful location by the seaside in Arbroath!

Cairn o Mohr Real Fruit Wines, DH Robertson, Nae Baked, Eva Tzatziki Homemade Greek Food, Tara's mantle herbs to name a few of our lovely stallholders!
