Races might be done for another year but Unsworth's Yard pizza and live-music evenings continue right through to the end of October.

This weekend:

Friday: the brilliant IAN BELLAMY from 6pm

Saturday: FIONA (helping us out with a last minute booking) from 5.30pm. Earlier start/finish as a helicopter's whisking her away to a second gig in Ambleside.

Weather's improving through the weekend but no matter - roof shut and heaters on if necessary. Get here early!

And just like that, it's the last race meeting of the year! We'll go out with a bang in Unsworth's Yard with some fantas...

And just like that, it's the last race meeting of the year! We'll go out with a bang in Unsworth's Yard with some fantastic live-music across the weekend:

Friday: the brilliant TOM WOODS
Raceday Saturday: the incredible BAD MAN SOUL
Super Sunday: chill out with TIM CHU then get up and dance with GEORGIA AND JAMIE!

Races might be done for this year but we keep going in Unsworth's Yard with pizza and live-music every Friday and Saturday evenings until the end of October. Get here early!

We're absolutely delighted that Furness CAMRA members have voted Last Wolf as their b**r of the year for 2026. CAMRA do great work promoting real ale, independent breweries and pubs and the local branches have always been supportive of our b**r.

Most of the limited quantity Last Wolf we brew can be found in our Brewery tap bar or the Keg and Kitchen in Grange but to celebrate the award, casks are heading out into the Furness area over the next couple of weeks. So look out for 'The Wolf' in The Old Friends in Ulverston and The White Lion in Barrow.

Big weekend coming up in Unsworth's Yard:

My first football memory is from 1970 and Dad explaining that England losing to West Germany meant we were out of the World Cup. Watching England has been a tough road ever since so the joy of last night (actually this morning) in Unsworth's Yard doesn't come along often in a lifetime.

What an end to Unstock weekend! Thanks to everyone who came along, ate pizza, drank b**r, and enjoyed all our fabulously talented musicians and singers. Special thanks to those that stuck it out to the early hours in the hope that this time, just maybe this time, England were going to make us proud.
