Spirit Tasting Workshops & Cocktail Masterclasses 🍸

We’re excited to be heading to the Bath & West Food & Drink Festival at the Bath & West Showground on 21st–22nd March – and we’ve got something special lined up.

Alongside our hands-on Cocktail Masterclasses (available to book via bathandwest.com), we’ll be hosting our much-loved Spirit Tasting Workshops – a relaxed, flavour-led experience perfect for anyone curious about what goes into a great spirit.

🥛 Spirit Tasting Workshops – £12 per person
Each session includes:
• Generous x8 samples served in our signature mini milk bottles
• A guided tasting through our current range
• A behind-the-scenes look at how our spirits are made – from raw ingredients to final pour
• The chance to be part of the Somerset Spirit Co. journey, a chance to sample x2 unreleased products.

• Plenty of stories, insight, and time to ask questions

Join us for one of our Spirit Tasting Workshops – a relaxed and immersive experience designed to engage the senses and introduce you to the world of distilling.

During the session, you’ll step behind the scenes of how carefully crafted spirits develop their character. From ingredients and distillation to the subtle details that shape aroma, texture and flavour, we’ll guide you through the process while tasting a curated selection from our range.

You’ll learn how to nose, sip and savour spirits properly, discovering the smooth and refined notes in each pour while hearing the stories behind how they’re made. Tastings are served in our signature mini milk bottles, alongside delicious Wyke Farms cheddar for the perfect pairing.

Freshly poured and full of character 🍋✨
There’s nothing better than the moment a cocktail comes together at the bar, the shake, the pour, and that first citrus aroma hitting the glass.
Our Somerset Milk Vodka brings a smooth, creamy texture that elevates classic cocktails, making every sip clean, bright, and perfectly balanced.

Lemon Drop Martini Recipe

Ingredients
* 50ml Milk Vodka
* 25ml Triple Sec
* 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice
* 10–15ml Sugar Syrup (to taste)
* Sugar (for the rim)
* Lemon twist (to garnish)

Method

1. Lightly coat the rim of a chilled martini glass with lemon juice and dip into sugar.
2. Add the vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, and sugar syrup into a shaker filled with ice.
3. Shake hard for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.
4. Fine strain into the prepared glass.
5. Garnish with a lemon twist and serve.
Smooth. Citrus-forward. Effortlessly refreshing. 🍸

We had a fantastic day at The Source Food & Drink Show at the Royal Bath & West Showground this week!

It was brilliant to be surrounded by so many passionate producers, buyers, chefs and hospitality professionals from across the South West and beyond. Events like this are such an important showcase for independent food and drink businesses, and we’re proud to fly the flag for Somerset.

We met so many lovely people from farm shops and delis to bars, restaurants and distributors, all genuinely excited about championing quality, locally crafted products. There’s nothing better than seeing people taste our spirits for the first time and watching their reactions!

We’re especially excited to share that we secured several new opportunities and listings over the day, which means you’ll soon be seeing more of our bottles on shelves and back bars in new locations 👀🍸
