The idea is to pour this traditional sidra (cider) Bereziartua from a height to aerate it, wake up all those flavours and give it a little spritz! So, not exactly a masterclass but delicious nonetheless! 🍎 🥃😅

We’re absolutely delighted to have won Best Window in this year’s Castle Douglas Civic Week competition!

Our theme was ‘A Toast to Castle Douglas’ 🥂

The real stars of the window were the beautiful landmark illustrations, all hand-drawn by our very own Harris (aged 10), featuring some of Castle Douglas’ most recognisable sights

A huge thank you to Castle Douglas Civic Week organisers for an amazing Civic week 🎉

Come and help us celebrate five fantastic years of the Harris & Co Wine Festival as you sip, sample and discover around 100 wines and spirits from across the world, alongside some of our favourite producers and suppliers.

Whether you’re searching for a new favourite bottle, keen to broaden your horizons or simply looking for a fantastic afternoon out, there’s something for everyone!

A Toast to Castle Douglas 🥂

For this year’s Civic Week Window Competition, we wanted to celebrate the place we’re proud to call home

Our window features some of Castle Douglas’ best loved landmarks, all hand drawn especially for the display by Harris (aged 10), alongside a few bottles worthy of raising a glass 🍾

Here’s to our wonderful town, our brilliant independent businesses and everyone who makes Castle Douglas such a special place.
