Last night’s collab tasting with was everything we love about bringing people together around a table. Summer vibes, really delicious food and a journey through Lebanon, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Georgia in the glass.

South African Wine Tasting

1. A great group joined us last night to enjoy a selection of 8 wines from South Africa 🇿🇦

2. A lot of thought goes into these events behind the scenes: we want the whole table to feel warm,relaxed and ready for a great night

3. Rowan puts together a lovely wine menu for each tasting to guide our guests through the evening

4. Our cheeseboard last night was a selection of Comte, Gubben, Durrus and Ossau Iraty 👌

5. Cheeses coming up to temperature, glasses lined up and South African wines ready to pour

6. Chris begins to pour just as guests are arriving

Three utterly fabulous summer drinking wines from Puglia's San Marzano 🇮🇹

Liboll Spumante Rosé Extra Dry 🍊

Delicate pale salmon hue with a fine mousse, this sparkling rosé offers up aromatic notes of orange blossom, pink grapefruit and pomegranate. Crisp and refreshing, with hints of Mediterranean herbs on the finish.

'Timo' Vermentino 🍋

Exotic floral and citrus aromas combine with notes of thyme and rosemary in this elegant and refreshing white with a saline, zesty finish.

Salice Salentino🍷

An intense bouquet of cherry, savoury plum and spicy notes combined with an attractive hint of Mediterranean herbs. Full bodied, warm and generous with a pleasantly fresh finish.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made our Six Course Tasting Menu collab such a success. The atmosphere, the laughter and the love of great food and wine; just incredible.

And an even bigger shout out to the amazing Caterbirds team 👏

The creativity, precision and passion that went into plating and presenting every single course was awe inspiring to watch! You guys absolutely smashed it 💯

Bank Holiday weekend is here ☀️🍸

Lots going on this weekend at .uk with a 6 course tasting menu event tonight and an in-store tasting tomorrow.

We’re delighted to have Braw Sauces joining us on Saturday 2nd May, 12 - 2pm, for a pop-up tasting of their Scottish hot and fruity sauces.

Andy’s sauces are handmade in small batches, packed with big, bold flavour. There’s one to suit every palate and the very Scottish names are guaranteed to raise a smile!

Pop in and see us tomorrow to give them a try 😋

We’ve got paté on tasting this week 😋

Taking us back to our deli days of working together in Edinburgh: this was one of our favourite products then and we are delighted to stock it at Harris & Co

Top faves are:

The phenomenal Chicken Liver Paté with Brandy and Port served on oatcakes

Stilon and Pear Paté which if fabulous on a cheeseboard or served on crackers

and Findlater’s Creamy Coleslaw - perfect alongside pretty much everything!

Harris & Co were on the road again last night 🚗

The sun was out, making a stunning location for a wine tasting 🍷

With some powerful women in attendance like Tina Turner, The Spice Girls, Princess Di, Anna Wintour and Maggie Thatcher (to name just a few): it was a very fun evening indeed!

We tasted a fizz from Valencia, Ferghettina Franciacorta, Calmel & Joseph Picpoul de Pinet, Timo Vermentino, Coterie by Wildeberg Rosé & Ontañón Rioja Crianza - something for everyone!
