Celebrating our female champion with champion coloured cheese tonight. Thanks The Blake Oxford Downs for the lovely present. We’re pleased that we could join you in the Red, White and Blue rosettes this season. Lucky to have such supportive and p**s taking friends 👌🏻🤣

An amazing week at the Three Counties Show and National Oxford Down Show. We were delighted to come home with female champion with our home bred shearling ewe. Lots of other rosettes picked up along the way. A great time with friends and other breeders, plenty of laughing and a lovely atmosphere. Congratulations to everyone else who attended, a really great show of Oxfords this year. Now we start the prep for the Royal Norfolk Show next week.

We had a lovely day on Saturday at the Hadleigh Show. Big mixed classes but we were placed in the top 5 in 3 out of 4 classes. The sheep behaved well, other than one naughty ewe lamb who might need a bit more halter training before our next show, luckily no photos of her in the ring.

The last of our ewes in this batch of lambing lambed late Friday night. We captured the late night lamb zoomies while tending to her. Some advantages to being out in the barn at all hours. 5 weeks and we start again with another 10 Oxfords to lamb and 10 Poll Dorsets.
